The FY06 project will develop reference platform models applying Service-Oriented Architecture strategies, deploy first operational prototypes at Southern California Logistics Airport (former George Air Force Base) and at Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Georgia, and plan for transition to business operations.

OBJECTIVE: A Fort to Foxhole Power Projection Support Platform to test logistics concepts from a remote port. The FY05 project will finalize a design and evaluate the utility of a dual use, military and commercial, Agile Port System within the Southern California regional freight distribution network. The system design will include supporting information technology, one or more marine terminals, a dedicated short haul rail network, and the multi-modal inland freight hub located at Victorville, CA developed as both a Joint Logistics Power Support Platform and National Logistics Training Center.
